Britta Burreau has been appointed new Managing Director of KPA Pension

The board of KPA Pension has appointed Britta Burreau to new Managing Director of KPA Pension. She will assume the position on 2 December.

Britta Burreau has been the Managing Director of Nordea Liv & Pension since 2004. She has a Master of Science in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and an Executive MBA from Stockholm School of Economics.

– Britta Burreau has a solid background in the insurance and financial sector. Under her management, Nordea Liv & Pension has become profitable and has grown heavily. Britta recently received an award as the inspirer of the year in the insurance industry for her change management work and new thinking. I am very pleased with the recruitment of Britta Burreau, comments Jens Henriksson, Chairman of KPA Pension and CEO of Folksam.

– KPA Pension will in Britta Burreau have a customer and result oriented Managing Director. She has also successfully navigated in the ongoing digitalisation and sustainability challenges, which are important questions to KPA Pension, comments Lena Micko, Vice Chairman of KPA Pension and Director General of Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR).

– I look very much forward to continue to manage the customers’ money in a safe and ethical way together with my new co-workers. I believe that my experience from a financial market in change will come to use. It also feels purposeful to lead a business with great impact on the society, not least as KPA Pension has a clear sustainability image, comments Britta Burreau.

Britta Burreau will assume her new role as Managing Director of KPA Pension at the latest on 2 December 2016. Mia Liblik will remain the acting Managing Director until then.
