Folksam Group comments on Swedbank

We look seriously at the information given in the Swedish Television and the TV-programme Uppdrag Granskning. The Folksam Group values transparency and clarity in the way Swedbank carries out its work to fight money laundering. It is a question of confidence, with serious implications for the financial standing of Swedbank. It also affects our customers. As we have previously communicated, we are still awaiting the investigation of the regulatory authorities.

The Swedish Economic Crime Authority has today conducted a raid at the Swedbank HQ. The Folksam Group has no comments to make on it since the raid is part of an ongoing preliminary investigation connected to the potential unauthorised disclosure of inside information.
